The Role: Fullstack Developer (AI & RAG Experience Preferred)
As a Fullstack Developer at Chatarmin, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our AI-powered customer experience suite. This is not just about writing code—it’s about shipping cutting-edge AI features that automate more than just FAQs.
You’ll work across the stack, integrating LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and real-time data processing to create seamless customer interactions.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop & Scale: Build and optimize features across our AI-powered Customer Support Suite.
- Integrate AI & RAG: Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to improve customer interactions with real-time, relevant data.
- Work with LLMs: Fine-tune and optimize LLM-based workflows for intelligent automation.
- Enhance API Ecosystem: Design robust RESTful & GraphQL APIs that seamlessly integrate with platforms like Shopify, Klaviyo, Zendesk, and more.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure low-latency AI-driven responses and a scalable backend architecture.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with product, AI, and engineering teams to push the limits of AI-powered customer support.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- MERN Stack Mastery – Strong experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- AI & RAG Knowledge – Experience working with OpenAI API, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases.
- API-First Mindset – Comfortable designing and consuming RESTful & GraphQL APIs.
- Real-Time Data Processing – Familiarity with WebSockets, event-driven architectures, and async processing.
- Infrastructure & Scaling – Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices.
- Debugging & Optimization – Strong ability to analyze and optimize backend performance & AI response times.
- Startup Mentality – Thrives in fast-paced, high-ownership environments and enjoys solving complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of fullstack development experience (MERN or similar).
- Experience with LLMs, OpenAI API, LangChain, or vector search (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, etc.).
- Built and scaled production AI-powered applications.
- Experience with eCommerce, customer support, or chatbot automation is a plus.
