The Role: Senior Software Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be one of the first members of our engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you will shape our technical architecture, make key product decisions, and solve complex challenges as we build an intuitive B2B SaaS application.
As part of our core team, you’ll work closely with the founders to drive product development and engineering excellence.
Your Responsibilities
- Define system architecture and make critical tool decisions for a scalable B2B SaaS platform.
- Develop backend structures and APIs that serve multiple customers reliably and efficiently.
- Design and implement intuitive front-end components to enhance user experience.
- Shape the domain model and business logic of a complex enterprise application.
- Write clean, maintainable code with robust testing and code reviews.
- Assess technical effort and complexity for future product roadmap planning.
- Take technical ownership, making pragmatic and efficient decisions about frameworks, tools, and scalability.
- Drive an engineering culture of quality, innovation, and collaboration across the organization.
What Makes You a Great Fit
We prioritize problem-solving, creativity, and drive over specific technologies. However, the following skills and experiences will be valuable:
- Frontend: Experience with React or Vue, using component libraries like Material UI, Quasar, or Vuetify.
- Backend: Developed RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Django, Express, or Rails.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Cloud Deployment: Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or AWS for deploying applications.
- Databases: Experience designing data models and working with PostgreSQL.
- Ownership & Collaboration: Strong communication skills, ability to mentor, and a passion for engineering best practices.
